Wedding/ Festival Venue

If you want to get married surrounded by natural scenery, let our stunning surroundings make the backdrop for your perfect day. 

Why would you use Springfield Park:

  • Private grounds with no neighbours for approx 1/2 mile - grounds are stunning and very well kept
  • Camping available with open fire pits
  • Can hold over 2000 people

Prices start from £2,500 for weddings. This is based on approx 100 to 150 people attending - the cost includes:  2 days before to set up, and 2 days after for taking down. It also includes access to fresh water and toilets. If additional days are needed for setting up or taking down, we would charge an additional £500.00 per day. 

In addition there is a bar on the premise that is fully operated by Springfield Farm which you will need to be included within the hirers application for the Temporary Events Notice.

Licensing Act 2003 - The premises is not currently licensed under the Licensing Act 2003 therefore Music, Dancing or the sale of Alcohol is not permitted without having a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) in place. However should a license be required the Hirer must obtain a Temporary Events Notice for the period of the hire from St Albans District Council. It is the responsibility of the hirer and the hirer confirms here that they will take full liability to make sure a TEN is in place for the event. The hirer confirms that they will take full responsibility for any issues and pay any penalties that may occur whilst the event is on with regards to the council, police or environmental health in he event the terms of the TEN's is breached. Outside drinks will not be permitted on the premises therefore it is essential that the application includes the request for the alcohol license.
